Job summary

OCU Group in Bridgend seeks a Senior SHEQ Advisor to lead safety, health, environment and quality management systems. You will drive strategy, governance and programs, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and UK regulations. You will mentor teams and manage risk across projects in the water sector.

You will develop training, deliver audits and investigations, and promote a proactive safety culture while collaborating with stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SHEQ programs and teams.
• Strong understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, 9001.
• Knowledge of UK SHEQ legislation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SHEQ strategies aligned with objectives.
• Lead audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver SHEQ training and mentor staff.
• Lead environmental and sustainability initiatives and monitoring.
• Maintain QMS and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with regulators, auditors and project teams.
