Job summary

OCU Group is seeking a Senior SHEQ Advisor to lead Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management across Bridgend operations. You will develop and manage SHEQ strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement while guiding site teams and audit programs.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma, IEMA environmental management knowledge and ISO standard expertise, with strong leadership and communication skills to reduce risk and promote a proactive safety culture across

Qualifications

• Requires NEBOSH Diploma, IEMA Environmental Management knowledge and ISO 9001/14001/45001 awareness.
• Significant experience in a SHEQ role, preferably in Water or Multi Utilities.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management systems.
• Develop, manage and monitor SHEQ strategies and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct audits, incident investigations and risk assessments; oversee action tracking.
• Deliver SHEQ training and coach staff to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate external regulatory interactions, audits and project SHEQ management.
• Prepare performance reports and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
