Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking a Senior SHE Manager for Wixams Station, a flagship rail project moving from design into construction in 2027. You will lead all health, safety and environmental activities across the project lifecycle and report to the Project Lead.

The role requires extensive rail sector leadership, a strong track record delivering Network Rail schemes, and a deep knowledge of UK HSE legislation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Senior SHE leadership role within the rail sector.
• Experience delivering major Network Rail infrastructure projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Network Rail standards and requirements.
• Excellent understanding of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental activities across the project lifecycle.
• Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Liaise between project team, client, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Develop safe systems of work and site processes in line with company standards.
• Monitor HSE compliance with Network Rail requirements and company standards.
• Support project delivery while maintaining high HSE performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice across all project activities.
