Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd in Chorley is seeking an experienced Senior Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) professional to lead compliance and drive a positive safety culture across manufacturing and engineering environments. You will deliver risk assessments, lead investigations, conduct audits, and provide training and communications to support continuous improvement.

The role requires NEBOSH and IOSH certifications and knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with a proactive, cross-functional

Qualifications

Proven experience in Health, Safety & Environmental role within manufacturing or energy sectors.
NEBOSH and IOSH certification required.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

Provide SHE advice and guidance across the business, ensuring compliance with legislation, company procedures and ISO management systems.
Support risk assessments, hazard identification and risk reduction activities across engineering, manufacturing and project environments.
Lead or assist with incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Conduct SHE inspections, audits and contractor oversight activities, ensuring standards are consistently maintained.
Deliver training, toolbox talks and SHE communications while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and performance reporting.
