EKFB is recruiting a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Aylesbury. You will lead SH&W for the delivery area, drive safety campaigns, and foster on-site engagement with operations and supply chain to improve performance.

Join a joint venture delivering major civil infrastructure for HS2, with opportunities to influence culture, perform audits, and support continuous safety improvements on site.

Qualifications

• Holding, as a minimum, NEBOSH Certificate [or equivalent] qualification in occupational safety and health.
• Holding Tech IOSH status or higher.
• Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of SH&W on the ground.
• Demonstrable experience of influencing SH&W culture and performance at operational level.
• Must have a valid UK driver's license and access to own vehicle
• Must have valid CSCS card (White, White/Yellow, Black, Gold or Red Experienced).

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of Safety, Health & Wellbeing for the Delivery Area.
• Promote and assist with Corporate & Local SH&W Campaigns.
• Foster relationships with onsite teams and supply chain to monitor SH&W performance.
• Undertake Site Safety Inspections and identify trends or anomalies.
• Advise close out of audit/inspection findings and investigations.
• Inform SH&W Manager of trends to improve performance across the Delivery Area.
• Ensure Business Management System content is applied and maintained.
• Carry out internal audits and promote a positive SH&W culture on site.
