Job summary

HW Finance in Leeds seeks a Senior Settlements Analyst to own settlements across electricity, gas, carbon and emerging energy products within our finance team. You will drive automation and improve controls while collaborating with trading, finance and external counterparties.

You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee reconciliations and month-end activities, and coach junior team members to strengthen capabilities and performance across the function.

We're partnering with a highly respected and growing energy business in the search for a Senior Settlements Analyst to join their finance team in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced settlements, trading operations or middle office professional looking to step into a broader role that combines technical expertise, operational leadership and process improvement.

You'll take ownership of thee settlements activities across electricity, gas, carbon and emerging energy products, whilst acting as a key point of contact for trading, finance and external counterparties. Alongside day-to-day operational delivery, you'll play a leading role in driving automation, improving controls and supporting the implementation of new commercial arrangements.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day settlements operations and act as the primary escalation point.
