About the role
We are looking for an experienced business support person to join our friendly and supportive team as a Senior Service Support Officer providing support to the Heads of Service in Adult Care Operations. You will be working alongside another colleague to provide this support in partnership with them.

This is a full time role at 37 hours per week and is a fixed term position for 6 months.
This role does not have a significant travel requirement, however you may occasionally be asked to provide support and attend some events away from the centre of duty. Therefore, occasional access to a vehicle, or to be prepared to use public transport or the willingness to travel with Dorset Council colleagues may be necessary.
The ability to communicate effectively in a professional, appropriate and concise manner both orally and in writing is essential for this post.
This post is a six months contract initially, with potential for extending. It is also subject to the standard probationary period.
