Adams Morey, part of the Greenhous Group and the main DAF truck dealer in the area, is recruiting a Service Manager for the Southampton operation. You will lead a large, skilled team including Technicians, Workshop Controllers, and Service Advisors, delivering top-tier service and performance.

You will drive customer satisfaction, manage budgets, recruit and develop staff, and embed continuous improvement across the service department in a high-profile role.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, or service environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering operational and financial performance.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a large service team.
• Drive workshop performance, productivity, and labour recovery.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all company processes, health & safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
• Manage service KPIs, financial performance, and departmental budgets.
• Support recruitment, training, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the department.
