Rochdale Borough Council is seeking a Service Manager for Cared For Children within Children’s Social Care to shape and lead strategic development and delivery for the welfare of children, young people and families. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across services supporting children in care, focusing on permanence planning, placement stability and care planning.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Strong track record in senior leadership and management.
• Knowledge of childcare legislation and national strategies.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and service excellence.

• Provide strategic leadership for permanence planning and Corporate Parenting across services.
• Lead and develop services to safeguard and promote welfare of children, young people and families.
• Drive improvements in placement stability, permanence planning and care planning.
• Embed trauma-informed, relational practice across services and promote high performance.
• Foster collaboration with elected members, partner agencies and care-experienced young people.
• Champion equality, diversity and inclusion and ensure timely Equality Impact Assessments.
