Job summary

Hales Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Service Engineer in London to join our client’s expanding engineering team. You’ll manage a portfolio of client sites across your area, with autonomy and support to develop your technical and customer service skills.

The role focuses on CCTV, Access Control and IP technologies, offering progression opportunities, ongoing training and a clear path to career advancement within a growing security business.

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience within the CCTV or Electronic Security industry.
• Good technical knowledge of electronic security systems.
• Knowledge or qualifications within electronics.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload and diary.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good working knowledge of PCs and associated technology.
• Professional and presentable when dealing with customers.
• Willingness to undertake further technical and H&S training.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the service, engineering and lifecycle management of client sites across your area.
• Manage your own diary, workload and day-to-day planning.
• Service, maintain and support CCTV, Access Control and integrated electronic security systems.
• Provide a high standard of technical support and customer service.
• Manage the technical and operational performance of your allocated client accounts.
• Identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Work closely with the operations support team and neighbouring Senior Service Engineers.
• Maintain accurate administration and reporting.
• Participate in regular quarterly business reviews with senior management.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance across customer sites.

Senior Service Engineer

Location: London

Hours: Full Time

Basis: Permanent

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 basic + commission (OTE £45,000-£55,000)

Our client is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join their expanding London engineering team, taking responsibility for a portfolio of client sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative business with an excellent reputation within the electronic security industry.

You’ll manage your own diary and workload while working across a varied client base including shopping centres, national companies, government and education sites.

The role offers plenty of independence, backed by ongoing technical support, training and development to help you keep up to date with the latest CCTV, Access Control and IP technologies.
