Senior Service Engineer for UPVC Aluminium windows and doors

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Business based in Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds. Position is working within the Suffolk / Essex area.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role – Senior Site Service Engineer/Window Fitter:

Due to continued expansion, we require a Senior Site Service Engineer within our window department.

The successful candidate would live within Suffolk/Essex area, must be willing to travel as our sites are based all over this area. The position would suit an ex-window fitter with experience fitting windows and doors into new build plots. A valid CSCS Card and a full driving licence are essential.

Basic hours for this role are 37 hours per week. An excellent remuneration package is offered. Van and phone will be provided.

Responsibilities – Site Service Engineer:

• Responsible for remedial/repair works to windows/doors on live construction developments in a safe and timely manner.
• Deal with initial visits to identify and fix problems.
• Works confirmed by office and electronic diary system.
• Collate and process client documents for invoicing.
• Coordinate with the office on parts needed.
• Complete reports of each visit accurately.
• Undertake other duties as required, especially during quieter periods.
• Valid full UK driving license.
