Our client, a leading company in the Healthcare sector, is experiencing continued growth and is looking to recruit a Senior Service Desk Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical support to onsite users.

Job Details
  • Location: Spinningfields, Manchester (Hybrid)
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits package and holiday allowance
  • Contract Type: Full-Time
  • Experience Level: Associate

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing Active Directory
  2. Providing desktop support
  3. Managing Office 365
  4. Troubleshooting network and email issues
  5. Troubleshooting Microsoft applications
  6. Managing new user and leaver administration
  7. Managing antivirus solutions (ESET & Sophos)
  8. Advanced management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)
  9. Managing storage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)
  10. Managing SQL Server
  11. Hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving
  12. Managing server management and maintenance
Requirements
  1. Relevant IT qualifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA
  2. Minimum of 2 years experience providing IT support to clients
  3. Experience managing some or all of the key responsibilities listed above
  4. Skills in Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure, or Server Management
  5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  6. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to industry changes
