Our client, a leading company in the Healthcare sector, is experiencing continued growth and is looking to recruit a Senior Service Desk Engineer responsible for providing technical support to onsite users.

Job Title: Senior Service Desk Engineer

Location: Spinningfields, Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits package and holiday allowance!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing Active Directory
  • Providing desktop support
  • Managing Office 365
  • Troubleshooting network and email issues
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft applications
  • Managing new user and leaver administration
  • Managing antivirus (ESET & Sophos)
  • Advanced management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)
  • Managing storage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)
  • Managing SQL Server
  • Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Managing server management and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in IT such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA
  • A minimum of 2 years experience providing IT support to clients
  • Experience in managing some or all of the key responsibilities listed above
  • One or more of the following skills: Expert knowledge of Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure or Server Management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in the IT industry
Desirable:
  • Management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)
  • InTune/MDM skills
  • Storage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)
  • SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure or Server Management
