Red King Resourcing in Kingston, London, is seeking a Senior Server & Storage Specialist to join the infrastructure team. Hybrid role requiring three office days weekly; you will manage physical and virtual servers, Windows and Linux, and enterprise storage.

Senior Server & Storage Specialist

Location: Kingston, London

Salary: £49,000 - £52,250 per annum (depending on experience)

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Type: Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Server & Storage Specialist to join a growing infrastructure team responsible for supporting and developing enterprise server, storage and cloud environments.

This role will play a key part in maintaining a resilient, secure and high-performing infrastructure, supporting both day-to-day operations and ongoing technology improvements.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience administering and supporting server technologies, both physical and virtual
• Strong Windows Server administration skills
• Linux server administration experience
• Experience with physical, virtual and cloud-based storage technologies
• Knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery practices
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools
• Understanding of server security, patching and anti-malware solutions
• Ability to work across both operational support and infrastructure improvement initiatives

This opportunity would suit a strong 3rd Line Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Infrastructure Specialist with excellent Windows Server and VMware experience, alongside exposure to modern cloud technologies.
