Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking a Senior Server Engineer in Greater London to contribute to the strategic design, direction and management of the client’s server, storage and backup technology stack. The role involves building robust solutions as part of a team of engineers across the client’s environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in server management, Windows and Linux OS, storage technologies, data centre operations, and security/compliance considerations in enterprise

Qualifications

• Experience in server management (physical and virtual).
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Linux.
• Experience with storage (physical, virtual and cloud).
• Data centre operations knowledge.
• Familiarity with service monitoring and management systems.
• Experience with backup solutions.
• Knowledge of anti-malware, security and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic design, direction and management of the server, storage and backup technology stack.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to build solutions across the client environment.

My well established Client is urgently recruiting for a Senior Server Engineer with a strong technical background in Server, Storage and Cloud technologies to contribute in the strategic design, direction and management of my Clients Server, Storage and Backup technology stack.

The chosen Candidate will work as part of a team of Engineers, building solutions across the Client.

It would be a distinct advantage to have the following skill-set or exposure to these skills and technologies;
