Campions is seeking a hands-on Senior SEO Manager in London to own day-to-day execution and ongoing improvement of our website and organic search performance. You will collaborate with internal teams, developers and external agencies to drive technical SEO, content optimisation and enhanced local search visibility, including AI-driven search considerations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SEO experience with strong technical and content SEO knowledge.
• Experience implementing SEO improvements and delivering measurable results.
• Confident managing CMS platforms and ongoing site maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical audits and local SEO.
• Experience using GA4, Google Search Console and tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
• Comfortable working with developers and agencies to implement technical changes and resolve issues.
• Analytical, organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of how organic search drives enquiries and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: Implement technical improvements across crawlability, indexation, site speed, structured data, redirects and Core Web Vitals.
• Website Management: Manage website updates, page builds, content publishing, landing pages and ongoing maintenance through the CMS.
• Content Optimisation: Conduct keyword research, optimise existing pages and implement on-page SEO improvements across titles, metadata, headings and internal links.
• Local SEO & AI Search: Improve local search visibility and implement GEO opportunities.
• Website Performance: Monitor organic traffic, rankings, engagement and conversions, using data to drive improvements.
• Reporting: Use GA4, Google Search Console and SEO tools to track KPIs and report results.
• Agency & Stakeholder Management: Work with developers, agencies and internal teams to coordinate website changes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify technical issues, content gaps and optimisation opportunities to deliver commercial impact.
