Job summary

McCormick UK Limited seeks a Sensory & Consumer Science Manager for Flavour Solutions to partner with UK and regional teams, shaping product development through sensory and consumer insights. The role leads a team of scientists and analysts across EMEA and collaborates with QA and product teams.

The candidate will drive strategic plans, recommend methodologies, and support fast-paced projects across sauces, condiments, coatings and seasonings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sensory & Consumer Science, Food Science or related discipline.
• Experience leading or mentoring sensory and consumer science professionals.
• Experience presenting to customers and stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, proactive and confident working in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and sensory/science software packages.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to deliver sensory and consumer insights across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
• Lead a team of Sensory & Consumer Scientists and Analysts in delivering insights.
• Shape product development, cost-out initiatives, de-risking and roadmaps.
• Compile scientific reports and present results to stakeholders.
• Drive methodologies, training and internal community of practice.
