Brookfield Community School, part of Redhill Academy Trust, invites applications for an Associate Assistant Headteacher/SENCO. This full‑time, permanent post is required from Easter 2027 and offers strategic SEND leadership within the Senior Leadership Team to drive inclusion and high standards of safeguarding.

The successful candidate will lead SEND provision, manage EHCPs and interventions, liaise with families and external partners, and work to raise achievement for all students.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing EHCPs and liaising with external agencies.
• Deep understanding of SEND legislation and safeguarding frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire
• Experience working in a secondary school setting.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to strategic direction of the school as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Lead SEND provision across the school, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.
• Oversee development and implementation of whole‑school policies related to inclusion, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
• Coordinate and monitor EHCPs, interventions and support plans; supervise SEND team.
