Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision and safeguarding in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of inclusive practice and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to develop and implement school policies on inclusion and safeguarding.
• Ability to collaborate with families, agencies and staff to remove barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND across the school as part of SLT.
• Oversee EHCPs, interventions and support plans; monitor progress.
• Lead and develop the SEND team and external partnerships.
• Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies for effective support.
• Ensure accurate records and reporting to Governors and local authorities.
• Drive whole-school improvement and inclusive teaching strategies.
