Job summary

Bowlee Park Community Primary School invites an experienced SENCO to join our senior team. You will lead SEND provision, coordinate EHCPs and work with families, staff and external partners to secure high-quality support for pupils with special educational needs.

The post offers a permanent, full-time role within a large four-form-entry school. You should have NPQ/SENCO qualification or be willing to complete National Award and be committed to inclusive, high-expectation teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading SEND provision in a primary setting.
• Ability to coordinate EHCPs and liaise with families and external agencies.
• Willingness to complete NPQ for SENCO or National Award for SENCO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development and implementation of the school's SEN policy.
• Coordinate provision for pupils with SEN or a disability and monitor progress.
• Support and train staff to deliver high-quality SEND provision.
