Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Senior Semiconductor Reliability Engineer to own reliability strategy behind AI silicon for datacenter scale. You will guide technology selection, design enablement, bring-up, qualification and manufacturing to move devices from design to robust production.

You will assess risk, lead sign-off, drive failure analysis across silicon, interconnect and packaging, and collaborate across silicon, packaging, manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong semiconductor reliability across silicon, BEOL, interconnect or advanced package technologies.
• Deep understanding of EM, TDDB, BTI and HCI mechanisms.
• Hands-on HTOL, thermal cycling, thermal shock, reflow testing and JEDEC reliability standards.
• Ability to use X-ray and CSAM analysis to diagnose package defects and root cause.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute reliability strategy across silicon nodes and packaging.
• Lead qualification, sign-off, and failure analysis across silicon, interconnect, and package technologies.
• Collaborate with design, packaging, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Mentor teams as Graphcore scales AI hardware.
