Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer for the Training Services Delivery programme in High Wycombe. The role focuses on functional security governance across the FJCAST delivery team, developing secure systems and SbD policies while ensuring cost, quality, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include leading security architecture work, interacting with customers, and supporting bids and proposals within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 10+ years of relevant experience, or MSc in related field with 7+ years of experience.
• Evidence of Security/Cyber Security requirements, design and architecture artifacts.
• Experience in Information Assurance and security testing for Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Technical leadership experience in systems security engineering and MoD/ GovS security contexts.
• Familiarity with RMF and STRIDE, and security documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Task Lead duties (planning, product ownership, scrum master).
• Develop a Security RMF following STRIDE model.
• Create Secure by Design planning and SbD policies for delivered systems.
• Develop top-level security requirements and flow them down (SbD).
• Interact with customers to refine requirements, solutions and costs.
• Plan, execute, and track bids, proposals, and risk mitigation.
