Job summary

Anson McCade Pty is seeking a Security Cleared Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement and improve security controls across cloud and hybrid environments. You will work with engineering and security teams to embed best practices and protect critical systems.

Responsibilities include managing SIEM platforms, incident response support, vulnerability remediation, and automation via scripting and IaC. Remote-first with on-site visits in Manchester.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' commercial experience in Cyber Security Engineering.
• Active SC Clearance.
• Experience across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, ELK or similar.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Understanding of networking, infrastructure security and vulnerability management.
• Experience operating within secure or regulated environments.
