Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking a Security Architect in Manchester, UK. The role is hybrid with 1-3 days on site, offering a pathway to DV clearance and exposure to high-profile government programmes.

You will design secure solutions across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments, aligning with policy and regulatory frameworks. Strong expertise in ISO 27001, NIST, and cloud security is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating as a Security Architect or similar senior security role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS or similar frameworks.
• Experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of network security, encryption, authentication and access control.
• Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, IDS, firewalls and vulnerability assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop security architectures aligned to client policy and regulatory frameworks
• Lead technical security design across infrastructure, cloud and application environments
• Collaborate with SMEs across Identity, Security Testing and Privacy
• Conduct risk assessments and support threat modelling activities

THE SECURITY ARCHITECT ROLE
