Job summary

Critical Project Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking a Security Design Manager to lead the security interface between the client and the supply chain, producing and assuring security design deliverables while providing Line of Defence assurance throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.

You will lead security design assurance for project teams and supply chains, support the implementation of HM Government standards including the DfT Security in the Design of Stations guidance, and advise on

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security design assurance principles and processes.
• Experience with security systems, blast mitigation, and hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM).
• Extensive stakeholder engagement with the ability to challenge senior external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead security design assurance and provide SME expertise to project teams and the supply chain.
• Support implementation of HM Government standards and guidance, including DfT Security in the Design of Stations guidance.
• Provide security design justification and assurance to Security Steering and Design Panels.
• Provide input into the project-wide Hazard Record, including threat analysis and evidence of compliance.
• Assess plans, assessments and designs against relevant regulations, standards and engineering best practice.
• Advise senior security and safety stakeholders on acceptability and compliance of designs.
