Job summary

Google is seeking a highly technical Security Architecture Consultant to lead architecture reviews, manage scope and schedules, and deliver secure, scalable enterprise architectures across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will translate complex security risks into clear executive guidance, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive remediation blueprints while traveling up to 30% to support client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience designing, evaluating, or leading enterprise security architecture programs and managing delivery teams.
• Experience applying advanced enterprise security controls, network engineering concepts, and identity management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the primary engagement for security architecture reviews and design projects, defining requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Review and design secure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments with guidance on network segmentation, identity perimeters, and hardening.
• Evaluate secure deployment of modern workloads focusing on cloud-native ecosystems and secure AI pipelines; perform threat modeling on complex systems.
• Translate architectural risks into actionable guidance for executives and technical stakeholders to inform decisions.
