Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking a security architect or security consultant to shape and secure large-scale cloud environments, with Google Cloud Platform as the primary cloud platform. This role is hybrid, based in Reading or Central London, and you’ll act as a trusted security adviser across cloud, engineering and architecture teams.

You will deliver security architecture, design assurance and threat modelling, develop blueprints and reusable patterns, and help teams build secure-by-design cloud

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a security architect, security consultant or security specialist in a cloud security environment.
• Some hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This global business is seeking a security architect or security consultant to help shape and secure their large-scale cloud environments, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as the primary cloud platform.

This is a technically focused position where you'll act as a trusted security adviser to cloud, engineering and architecture teams. You'll provide security architecture, design assurance and threat modelling, helping teams build secure-by-design cloud solutions and address security risks throughout the development lifecycle. You will also be required to develop blueprints and reusable patterns as needed.

You should have hands on experience as a security architect, security consultant or security specialist in a cloud security environment. The ideal candidate will have some hands on experience with GCP.

This role is offered as hybrid in either Reading or Central London.
