Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Security Architect to lead and govern security architecture across a portfolio of projects in the UK. You will drive secure design reviews, advise on cloud, network and application security controls, and mentor delivery teams to embed best practices.

The role requires translating technical risk into actionable business recommendations. You'll engage with senior stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Significant experience across security domains such as architecture, engineering, cloud, network and app security.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations.
• Experience reviewing security designs, risk assessments and testing outputs.
• One or more industry certifications is advantageous (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, OSCP).

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Security Architect and technical authority across projects.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on secure design.
• Assess and advise on cloud, network, infrastructure, and application security controls.
• Review complex solutions for alignment with security, regulatory, and business needs.
• Mentor security practitioners and promote best practice across teams.
