Job summary

Accenture in the UK is seeking a Senior Technical Security Consultant - H&PS to join a team delivering high‑impact security programmes across health, public sector, defence and central government. This role offers location flexibility with client travel and a career path at manager level.

You will act as a technical authority, lead security architecture reviews, advise on cloud and network security, conduct threat modelling and coordinate security testing.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security architecture, engineering, cloud, network or application security.
• Experience leading secure design reviews and security testing activities.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Security Architect and technical authority across projects and services.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on secure design principles.
• Assess and advise on cloud, network, infrastructure and application security controls.
• Review complex technical solutions to ensure alignment with security and business requirements.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide oversight and recommendations for security testing and pentesting activities.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation prioritisation.
• Collaborate with engineers and delivery teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Act as escalation point for complex security challenges.
• Coach security practitioners to improve outputs and standards.
• Promote security best practices and develop technical standards across the security community.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate risks and recommendations effectively.
