Job summary

Accenture Senior Technical Security Consultant - H&PS role with flexibility for UK offices and client travel. Manager-level position shaping secure designs across health, public sector, Defence and central government, guiding security strategy and risk decisions.

You will mentor security practitioners, collaborate with architects and assurance teams, and communicate risks to senior stakeholders while delivering cutting-edge secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security architecture across enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, infrastructure and enterprise security technologies.
• Experience applying secure-by-design principles.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Security Architect and technical authority across a portfolio of projects and services.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on secure design principles.
• Assess and advise on cloud, network, infrastructure and application security controls.
• Review complex technical solutions and ensure alignment with security requirements.
• Conduct and support threat modelling, risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide technical oversight and recommendations for security testing and penetration testing activities.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation prioritisation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, testers and assurance teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical security challenges.
• Coach and mentor security practitioners, raising quality and consistency of outputs.
• Promote security best practice and contribute to technical standards across the security community.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to communicate risks effectively.
