Harvey Nash Group is seeking a Lead Security Architect in Leeds for a hybrid, permanent role with a salary up to £82,000. You will shape cybersecurity strategy across cloud, on-premise and SaaS, partnering with senior stakeholders to embed secure-by-design principles.

You'll provide architectural guardrails, governance, and expert guidance to delivery teams in a large enterprise environment, balancing risk and business outcomes with innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security architecture or a senior cyber security role.
• Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies and enterprise patterns.
• Good knowledge of networking, security and encryption technologies.
• Experience reviewing designs and docs to spot security risks.
• Ability to translate vulnerabilities into business risk terms.
• Proven stakeholder management across tech and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve security architecture principles, standards, patterns and roadmaps.
• Champion a modern, threat-informed security posture to reduce risk.
• Embed secure-by-design practices across the solution lifecycle.
• Lead architectural governance, design reviews and assurance activities.
• Translate business strategies into secure target-state architectures.
• Communicate complex security decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
