Job summary

Barclay Simpson in London is seeking an experienced, senior Security Architect to own the organisation's security strategy, roadmap and standards. This hands-on role covers cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments with technical authority over cyber security.

The successful candidate will drive security designs from strategy to execution, working closely with Information Security, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams. Hybrid work requires 2 days in the City office; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on Security Architect with ownership of security strategy, roadmaps and standards.
• Strong experience in cloud, on-prem and hybrid security architectures.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in a regulated enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern cyber security architecture across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Translate security strategy and roadmap into execution, ensuring architecture aligns with standards.
• Act as technical authority for security designs and governance across the organisation.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams at senior levels.
