Director, Enterprise Security Architecture

Salary - £150-160k + £40-50k Bonus + Benefits

Location – London (in office 3 days per week)

I’m currently partnered with an elite Financial Markets firm hiring for a Director level Enterprise Security Architect to work with their Global CISO to set out and deliver the Enterprise Security Architecture strategy, driving a proactive, continuously improving enterprise security architecture function.

This strategic role involves working with stakeholders across different geographies and time zones to drive the security architecture strategy at the enterprise level; candidates should have a technical, hands-on background with a solid understanding of the technical intricacies involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, drive, and deliver the enterprise security architecture strategy and roadmaps, aligning security initiatives with business goals.
• Create security architecture frameworks, policies, and standards, emphasizing Cloud Security, SaaS, and IaaS, in line with industry best practices and regulations.
• Design and document security architecture solutions for enterprise-wide programs, ensuring risks are mitigated during planning and design.
• Guide project managers to integrate security architecture across initiatives, focusing on scalability, compliance, and risk management.

Key Requirements:

• Experience designing and leading security initiatives across cloud, network, application, and infrastructure domains at an enterprise and global level.
• Proven ability to work with C-Suite and senior stakeholders to influence strategic security decisions.
• Deep knowledge of security risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls.
• In-depth understanding of the SABSA framework, preferably certified, especially in risk management and security strategy development.
