Job summary

Global Vehicle Group, the UK's largest B2B vehicle leasing broker, is seeking a Compliance Manager based primarily at Global Vans in Bristol, with travel across the UK. The role sits in second-line compliance, embedding a robust culture and providing independent assurance to senior management across GV, XLCR and LCV.

Qualifications

• Lead compliance as a senior leader with demonstrated successes in this area.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Experience delivering second-line oversight, assurance or monitoring activity.
• Confidence operating independently with sound judgement.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and provide effective challenge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Attention to detail with a risk-based approach.
• Provide independent challenge to senior management and push back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk-based second-line oversight across GV, XLCR and LCV, including regulatory areas.
• Review management information, trends and emerging risks with independent challenge.
• Escalate material risks to the Group Head of Compliance in a timely manner.
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior management on regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear, practical advice on regulatory expectations and their application.
• Support implementation and adherence to Group compliance policies and standards.
• Interpret regulatory developments and assess their impact across entities.
• Support the Group Head of Compliance in regulatory change.
• Provide oversight of Consumer Duty governance and customer outcomes.
• Review outcomes-focused MI and challenge potential harms.
