Job summary

Somerset Bridge Group is seeking a Compliance Business Partner in Bristol to strengthen second-line risk and regulatory oversight. You will translate FCA requirements into practical actions, build strong stakeholder relationships and embed compliance by design in products and operations.

You’ll partner with business teams, provide timely regulatory reporting, offer guidance on conduct risk, and support training and policy development while upholding high standards of integrity and discretion.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of FCA regulation and conduct risk in UK general insurance.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps and controls.
• Experience in stakeholder management and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Provide compliant advisory support and challenge to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Identify emerging risks and regulatory changes; support implementation across business areas.
• Assist with implementing controls and reporting to maintain compliance.
• Support development of compliance policies and procedures.
