Job summary

Bond Williams is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Test Engineer (SDET) to join a growing technology team developing modern software products. This engineering-led role focuses on automated testing and improving quality.

You will design automated test frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript, automate UI/API/integration tests and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, working with developers, product teams and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as an SDET, Software Test Engineer or Automation Engineer.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• API testing experience.
• CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Automating UI, API and integration testing.
• Integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Supporting quality across cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
• Collaborating with developers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
