Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to empower multiple teams and remove blockers while guiding agile practices across projects. You will manage Azure DevOps boards, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and data-driven decisions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in project management and proficiency with Scrum/Agile methods, with exposure to enterprise-level development and remote-work readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience, with 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile/traditional project management principles.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies on enterprise-level projects.
• Agile certifications like PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe are a plus.
• Experience leading multi-function project teams (10–15 members).
• Experience using Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira for tasks.

Essential Job Functions

• Team Empowerment, Support, and ImprovementPerform Scrum Master duties for multiple teams.
• Facilitate team ceremonies and remove any roadblocks to the team’s work.
• Lead and coach the team in self-organization by utilizing Scrum or Kanban practices to foster a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Assist the team in making informed decisions by providing relevant information and facilitating discussions.
• Ensure that decisions align with priorities.
• Foster collaboration between different functional areas within the organization, ensuring that dependencies are managed effectively.
• Help the team adapt to evolving circumstances and stay focused on team goals.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and feedback sessions.
• Tooling and AutomationManage Azure DevOps boards to maintain established structure and processes.
• Work towards increasing team productivity by analyzing data and creating possible solutions.
• Perform monthly project updates to track the development roadmap of the team.
• Advocate for the use of automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.
• Resource ManagementManage resource allocation, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools, skills, and support to perform their tasks effectively.
• Identify and address potential resource constraints or bottlenecks.
• Report on resource utilization and manage capacity for the team.
• Project Planning and CoordinationCollaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and timelines.
• Respond to changes in project scope, priorities, or requirements by adjusting plans and priorities accordingly.
• Coordinate activities among team members and other relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between the technical delivery team and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
• Provide regular updates on project/development progress, milestones, and potential challenges to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Technical Writers, and the software development team to ensure that technical documentation is up to date.
• Identify and assess project risks, working with the team to develop mitigation plans.
• Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact product delivery.
• Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as extensive knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices
• Prior experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
• Agile certifications a plus: PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe
• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, Business Analyst, and QA personnel.
• Experience using Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira for managing work tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool is a plus.
• Experience working remotely and household setup conducive to remote work.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is £60,000.00 - £90,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
