Job summary

Arcus FM is seeking a junior Scrum Master on a 12 months fixed term contract to guide software teams as we build world-class digital solutions. You will be a catalyst for Agile excellence, serving multiple cross-functional squads in a fast-moving, adaptive environment.

This is more than a facilitation role—you’ll coach, unblock blockers, and champion delivery. You will work with Product Owners, measure velocity and sprint progress, and promote a culture of continuous improvement using Jira and

Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles, and frameworks.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum ceremonies: Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives.
• Champion self-organisation, team ownership, and Scrum maturity.
• Promote psychological safety and constructive collaboration.
• Actively remove blockers and escalate issues when needed.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
• Empower squads to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes.
• Track delivery using Agile metrics: velocity, burndown, cycle time.
• Ensure sprint goals are clear, achievable, and delivered on time.
• Maintain high standards for backlog hygiene and definition of done.
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs.
• Ensure transparency and alignment across business and delivery teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes with clarity.

About the Job

Agile Coaching & Facilitation

To be successful you will have:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent
