Job summary

SRG, a Biotech partner in Oxford, seeks a Principal Researcher to lead Novel Therapeutics Discovery - Functional Reprogramming. You will guide a multidisciplinary team and set strategic direction to deliver a pipeline of innovative therapeutics.

You will mentor scientists, drive robust experimental design, and collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, presenting findings to senior teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple drug discovery programs.
• Ability to mentor and develop scientists across backgrounds.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver drug discovery strategy aligned with immunology goals.
• Lead and develop a team of 3+ direct reports across levels.
• Build scientific capability and a strong drug discovery mindset.
• Act as molecule lead on pipeline programmes with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate across immunology discovery research and development.
• Present concepts and results to senior stakeholders and external partners.
