Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Senior Scientist I (Fixed-term contract) based in Birmingham with coordination across Wroclaw, Poland. You will lead RDQ activities for new product development, coordinate pilot plant and factory trials, and develop consumer-led specifications while ensuring GMP/HACCP adherence.

You will analyze data, communicate risks, and influence senior stakeholders, mentoring others and leveraging digital tools to drive innovation in chocolate and confectionery projects

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Food Science & technology or Chemical Engineering.
• Significant RDQ/Product Development experience in FMCG.
• Experience in Chocolate/Confectionery within UK/Europe is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios.
• Plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials per GMP and HACCP.
• Develop consumer-led specifications and coordinate stakeholder input.
• Communicate status and risks to senior stakeholders; drive data-based recommendations.
