Job summary

Laurus Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Science Technician to join our Science department and support delivery across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will work with teaching staff to ensure practical lessons are prepared to the highest standard and that equipment is maintained safely and efficiently.

You will also support the leadership and development of other technicians within the department. This term-time only role is 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 A-Level in science.
• Knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Prior experience in a similar technician role.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient technician support to the science department.
• Prepare practical lessons to a high standard.
• Maintain equipment and resources safely and efficiently.
• Support leadership and development of other technicians.
