Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby seeks a Vice Principal to provide world-class leadership, direction, and strategic oversight for one or more Deep areas. The role involves intervention and challenge across curricula and year groups, reporting to the Principal, and potential consultancy work within the Trust.

The post requires commitment to rigorous improvement, flexibility to work across academies, and active professional development toward becoming a Principal.

Qualifications

• PGCE or equivalent qualification required.
• Evidence of continued professional development and working towards NPQH.
• Experience in leadership, project management and school development planning.
• Familiarity with safeguarding guidelines and Ofsted processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more strategic Deep areas (Learning, Experience, Support, or Leadership).
• Provide high-quality leadership and management reporting to the Principal.
• Intervene, challenge and support curriculum areas and year groups.
• Support international links and the National Leadership in Education agenda.
