Are you seeking a senior leadership role providing world-class management and direction, with a view toward becoming a future Principal? Join us as a Vice Principal, where you will lead one or more key strategic "Deep" areas (Learning, Experience, Support, or Leadership) and play a vital intervention and challenge role across curriculum areas and year groups. This Vice Principal role will lead Deep Support. This position requires flexibility, commitment to rigorous continuous improvement, and the willingness to undertake consultancy work or even act as Principal in another academy/school as needed. The Vice Principal provides high quality (world class) Leadership and Management, reporting to the Principal and leading one or more key strategic "Deep" areas. The role involves undertaking the full range of professional duties required by the Academy Principal, and includes an intervention, challenge, and support role with curriculum areas and year groups. This senior leader actively supports the Trust's National Leadership in Education status, which may include providing support and challenge to other schools, performing consultancy work, or potentially acting as Principal in another academy/school. The Vice Principal is responsible for promoting International links, actively pursuing the "Students First" agenda, and championing equality of opportunity for all pupils and staff. They must commit to active personal professional development towards becoming a potential Principal, be highly flexible to meet constantly changing demands, and be prepared to undertake outreach work.
