Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Trust is seeking a role within the Green Paper Transforming children and young people’s mental health programme. The post holder will work within a Mental Health Support Team providing short-term, evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression and their parent(s)/carer(s).

• Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues in children and young people.
• Engage with parents/guardians to support whole-family involvement and education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short-term evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression and/or behavioural difficulties.
• Liaise with school/education staff and external services to ensure timely access to support.
• Undertake triage and signpost to appropriate services while respecting equal opportunities.
