Job summary

Rilmac Scaffolding Ltd in Lincoln seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead multiple scaffolding contracts from award to completion. You will plan resources, manage costs, maintain strong client relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The role involves regular travel across the Midlands and surrounding regions, close collaboration with operations and commercial teams, and a commitment to high standards of quality and compliance with Health & Safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar management role within the construction industry.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of contract administration and project cost control.
• CISRS Scaffolding qualification or industry-related certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word for basic reporting and information inputting.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations within construction environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Will be required to pass DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple scaffolding contracts simultaneously from commencement to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings, site meetings and progress reviews.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant and material resources to meet project requirements.
• Monitor project performance, costs and programme delivery.
• Identify and secure contract variations and additional commercial opportunities.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all projects operate in line with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and industry best practice.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare reports, contract documentation and project records as required.
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver business objectives.
• Support the ongoing development and improvement of company processes and standards.
