Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an experienced SAS developer to join our Decisioning Systems Assurance team, validating lending strategies, decision systems and customer outcomes across a range of lending products.

You'll work across strategic change and live production environments, identifying defects and data quality issues before they impact customers or business outcomes. Hybrid UK work model with in-office collaboration and home working.

Qualifications

• Good SAS programming and development experience.
• Experience analysing and interpreting large, complex datasets.
• Experience investigating and resolving data, system or process-related issues.
• Knowledge of lending, credit risk, decisioning systems or banking operations.
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and investigative skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate lending strategies, decision systems and customer outcomes using SAS across multiple products.
• Identify defects, control weaknesses and data quality issues before they impact customers or business outcomes.
• Support assurance standards, governance, and monthly management reporting; act as deputy to the Manager when required.
