Job summary

Honda Motor Europe Ltd seeks an experienced Contract Test Manager to define and lead the SAP testing strategy across SIT, UAT and regression testing. You will work with delivery vendors, architecture and product owners to embed quality through the delivery lifecycle, including governance, risk management and reporting.

The role combines hands-on test management with senior stakeholder coordination and a focus on release readiness, resilience testing and continuous improvement of testing

Qualifications

• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
• Experience defining and implementing test strategies, plans, governance and quality standards.
• Experience with SAP SIT/UAT/regression testing in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery and how testing is integrated.
• Experience in resilience testing and testing of connected car services or automotive software.

Responsibilities

• Lead UAT and regression testing across multiple domains.
• Define and own project test plans, approach and governance across projects/releases.
• Develop detailed test plans, schedules and resourcing models; align with delivery goals.
• Establish testing standards, frameworks, methodologies and tools; include automation where appropriate.
• Ensure entry/exit criteria are met; provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Manage defects, environments, risks and release-readiness reporting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across teams; ensure testing is embedded in delivery pipeline.
• Validate SAP integration with third-party platforms; challenge architecture where needed.
• Design and execute resilience testing; verify failover and degraded modes.
