Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Authority to guide technical direction across a large-scale SAP Tax & Revenue Management landscape, working with architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and future-ready SAP solutions.

This role combines deep SAP expertise with business focus, shaping Strategic Technology Leadership, guiding enterprise architecture decisions, and mentoring technical teams through delivery lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in SAP ABAP including ABAP Objects, WDA, BRF+, Workflow, NetWeaver Gateway Services, and Integration.
• Strong S/4HANA development experience including S/4 Migration, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, code pushdown, and HANA-optimised development.
• Experience designing and governing complex SAP solutions across large enterprise landscapes.
• Experience in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and cloud-based extension frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, security, and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of SAP technical solutions across WRICEF objects within complex SAP Tax & Revenue Management environments.
• Act as the technical authority for SAP development, overseeing Client-Centric Solution Ownership, Engineering Excellence, quality, performance and governance.
• Collaborate with architects, functional leads, and business stakeholders to define scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Drive adoption of modern SAP capabilities including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud extension approaches.
• Lead and mentor development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Conduct design reviews, architecture assurance, and code quality governance activities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
• Support solution shaping, Strategic Technology Leadership, client workshops, and business development activities.
• Champion best SAP practice and continuous improvement across the SAP capability.
