Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an SAP Solution Architect to lead end-to-end SAP architectures for major transformation programmes across the UK public sector. You will shape designs, drive delivery leadership and ensure robust, secure solutions aligned to SAP best practices.

The role covers S/4HANA transformations, integration with enterprise ecosystems, and a hybrid working model across Capgemini offices, client sites, and home offices in the UK.

Qualifications

• You will bring strong SAP architecture experience and credibility in front of senior stakeholders and the ability to lead delivery in complex, regulated environments.
• Able to achieve UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Experience designing and delivering SAP solutions at enterprise scale, ideally within Public Sector.
• Deep SAP S/4HANA architectures (PCE or On-premise) including brownfield, greenfield, or hybrid transformations.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional domains with cross-functional design.
• SAP technical architecture including landscape design, security, data management, networks, environments and non-functional requirements.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware or event-driven approaches.

Responsibilities

• Produce end-to-end SAP solution architectures covering functional design, technical architecture, integration and security.
• Lead the design of SAP-based solutions across S/4HANA and related platforms.
• Advise clients on SAP best practices, deployment options and target architectures.
• Present complex solutions clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Own architecture decisions and ensure governance and delivery controls are followed.
• Collaborate with delivery managers and technical teams to ensure smooth live operation.
