Job summary

bp is seeking a SAP Platform Lead to steer the strategy and execution of bp’s SAP platform across on‑premises, private cloud, public cloud and SaaS services. You will lead technical direction, ownership of major SAP accountabilities, and collaboration with executives to drive transformation.

You will manage budgets, supplier relationships and risk governance while delivering AI‑driven improvements and cost efficiency across the SAP landscape. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading SAP platform engineering squads/teams.
• Hands-on background in SAP technologies, including SAP Basis, S4HANA and BTP.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations and cloud strategies.
• Ability to manage budgets, vendors and risk across global SAP estates.
• Proven leadership in large, complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, engineering, delivery and operations for bp SAP platforms.
• Drive cloud adoption, AI innovation and technical debt reduction.
• Ensure availability, security, compliance and user experience across SAP services.
• Oversee supplier management, licensing, and financial governance.
• Partner with SAP, SI partners and technology leaders to optimise value.
